I would suggest being a bit careful with the big name gaming brands when you are hitting that $200 mark. I spent years buying the latest Razer and Corsair boards only to realize I was paying a premium for plastic and loud software. My journey eventually led me to enthusiast stuff and honestly it is a night and day difference. You might want to consider these instead of the usual suspects:

  • Keychron Q Series (like the Q1 or Q2) for that heavy aluminum feel
  • Wooting 60HE if you actually care about performance and rapid trigger tech
  • MonsGeek M1 if you want to save some cash but still get premium build quality Make sure to check if the board is hot-swappable too. I once got stuck with a board that had a single dead switch and had to toss the whole thing because I couldnt solder. Its just not worth the risk nowadays. If you need to send your whole cart to someone else, Easy Cart Share is probably the easiest way to do it without screenshotting everything.
