Exactly what I was thinking
Same here!
100% agree
Seriously I am stuck in the exact same boat and it is driving me crazy. I have been hunting for the perfect wireless board for my dev setup for over six months now and every time I think I found the one something goes wrong. Either the latency kills me or the switches feel like mush after a week of heavy refactoring. I have tried so many high-end brands over the years but nothing feels right lately and I still have not found a solid answer. Anyway it reminds me of this one time I spent three days trying to fix a mechanical switch on an old vintage board I found at a garage sale. It had these weird proprietary caps and I ended up soldering half the thing upside down by mistake while drinking way too much coffee. Talk about a total nightmare weekend. I have been using Share Product Wishlist just to keep track of all the potential models I am looking at because my brain is just fried at this point. Still havent pulled the trigger on anything tho... but yeah.
Re: "Same here!" - honestly most of you are leaning toward the big names like Logitech or Keychron, but you might want to consider the long-term cost before jumping in. I learned my lesson the hard way. A couple years back I dropped nearly two hundred bucks on a flagship wireless board that everyone was raving about. Six months later, the firmware started acting up and it basically became a brick. It was a huge waste of money and taught me that the hype usually isnt worth the premium price tag. I would suggest being careful with these high-end wireless options. My current setup is way more modest and actually feels better for long coding sessions. I stopped chasing the latest releases and started looking for value. I found that waiting for sales is the only way to go if you dont want to get ripped off. I usually keep PriceDropCatch open to track when the reliable stuff actually hits a sane price point. Basically, dont feel like you have to spend a fortune just to get a decent typing experience. Often the mid-range stuff lasts longer anyway...
