Omg so I am finally moving into my new place in Chicago this weekend and my aunt actually offered to buy my first big grocery and supply haul as a housewarming gift which is literally amazing bc I'm totally broke from the security deposit lol. I'm looking at like a $300 order on the Walmart app right now with all the essentials like cleaning stuff and snacks but I'm stuck on how to actually let her pay for it without making it a huge mess. My logic was maybe I could just give her my login info so she can add her credit card but that feels kinda sketchy even if it is family plus I dont want her card saved on my account forever and she is not tech savvy at all. Then I was thinking about her just sending me a digital gift card but I'm worried about how long those take to process since I need to place the order like tonight to get a delivery slot for Friday morning. Is there some kind of shared cart feature or a way to send her a checkout link? I've seen some sites do that but I cant find it on Walmart. So it's basically down to either sharing my password or the gift card route and I'm leaning toward the gift card but honestly idk if that's the fastest way. Has anyone done this before without it being a total headache...
I would strongly advise against sharing your password since its a major security risk for you both. You should definitely use the digital gift card route to keep her card info safe.
> I would strongly advise against sharing your password since its a major security risk Totally agree with that. I've used Walmart e-gift cards for family many times and I am always satisfied with the speed. They usually arrive within 15 to 30 minutes. It works well for tight deadlines like yours. No complaints about security either since you just copy the code into the payment section. It keeps things simple.
