I'm trying to figure out the best way to share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend so they can see what I'm planning to buy and maybe add their own items. I know I can share individual product links, but is there a way to share the entire cart? Or should I create a wishlist instead? What methods have worked well for you when coordinating group purchases or getting input on potential buys?
Honestly, I’ve found that just using the Amazon Wish List feature is the most practical move for this. While extensions are cool, they can be superrr buggy or have weird privacy issues that I'm not totally comfortable with tbh. If you compare how Amazon handles lists vs Walmart or Target, Amazon is basically the king of collaborative shopping. You just go to ur lists, create a new one, and hit the 'Invite' button to make it collaborative. Then your friend can add their own stuff or comment on what you’ve picked out. It's not technically the 'cart' page, but it's way more stable and works on mobile too. I’ve used it for group office supply runs and it’s honestly much better for market research and comparing prices before you actually pull the trigger and move everything to the checkout. Plus, you don't have to worry about an extension breaking when Amazon updates their site code again, which happens like all the time.
