My extended family is doing this massive secret santa thing this year and honestly im panicking because last year my aunt and my sister both bought the same exact air fryer for my mom and it was super awkward at dinner. We have like 15 people to keep track of across three different states and I really need a way to stop the double-buying before I lose my mind lol. I have about $300 total to spend on everyone so I cant afford to mess up and buy something someone already has. I have been looking at Giftster because it seems pretty straightforward but then my cousin suggested Elfster since it has the whole secret santa draw feature built in which would save me a ton of time but I dont know if the interface is too cluttered for my dad who is 74 and barely knows how to use his iphone. I also thought about just doing a shared google doc but that feels like people might accidentally see what they are getting and ruin the surprise? Does anyone have experience with these or maybe something better? I need to get this set up by next week or im gonna be way behind on shipping stuff out to Ohio. Elfster seems more fun but Giftster looks cleaner so i am totally torn... what do you guys think works best for older relatives who arent tech savvy?
Elfster works well for my family and we were really satisfied. Grandpa actually used it without calling me for help once, so it dont get much easier than that honestly.
