What is the best tool for tracking Walmart price drops right now? I've been using Keepa for Amazon for years but my usual scrapers keep getting blocked on Walmart's site.

I am trying to snag a specific 65 inch Sony TV before the Super Bowl and my budget is strictly under 900 bucks. Need something that actually sends real-time alerts fast...

> I've been using Keepa for Amazon for years but my usual scrapers keep getting blocked on Walmart's site. Building on the earlier suggestion, I agree that extensions are usually the most accessible route, but unfortunately, my experience with Walmart price tracking has been pretty disappointing lately. I had issues with several tools that claim real-time alerts but actually lag by several hours. It is honestly not as good as expected compared to the seamless experience we get with Keepa on Amazon. The technical side is the real hurdle because Walmart is much more aggressive with their site security. I have noticed a few specific problems:

  • Their anti-scraping tech blocks common IPs almost immediately
  • Prices often shift based on your specific local zip code
  • Stock levels desync between the search results and the actual product page It is a methodical challenge to find something that can actually penetrate their site's defenses without getting flagged. If you are serious about that Sony TV under 900 bucks, you need something that handles these blocks automatically. Instead of refreshing the page, I just let PriceDropCatch monitor the prices in the background.

You should definitely look into using the Capital One Shopping extension for your TV hunt. I used to be really cautious about which tools I gave access to my browser, but this extension has been part of my setup for a long time and I am quite satisfied with it. Last year, I was trying to grab a Sony X90K on a budget. I tried a few different scrapers that just kept failing because Walmart is so aggressive with blocks, but this tool actually stayed active and sent me a real-time notification the moment the price hit my sweet spot. Honestly, the tracking feels very reliable compared to those buggy scrapers that always let me down. No complaints here... it just works well without getting flagged as a bot. For a high-ticket item like a 65 inch Sony, you really need that reliability so you dont miss the window.
