Im editing a bunch of travel vlogs for my tiny youtube channel and my old laptop is dying trying to render 4k footage. Ive been looking at Premiere with its new AI stuff versus Descript since my workflow is mostly talking head stuff. My budget is like 30 bucks a month max. So I was thinking maybe Descript is easier for cutting out dead air but does it suck for actual color grading? Torn between those two, which one should I actually grab...
Honestly, if your laptop is already struggling with 4k, Premiere is gonna melt it. Adobe is just too heavy for older hardware. Descript is way lighter and super good for talking head stuff since cutting by text is a game changer for travel vlogs.
