I'm looking to reapply thermal paste on my PS5 Pro and want to know which thermal paste is considered the best for this console. I've heard mixed reviews about various brands, and I want something that offers excellent thermal conductivity and longevity. Are there specific brands or types that users recommend for the PS5 Pro?

To add to the point above: in my experience with console mods over the years, you gotta be careful about what people call the best. I've tried many pastes and for the PS5 Pro, viscosity is everything. If the paste is too thin, it just pumps out from under the heatsink after a few heat cycles. Honestly, I'd suggest looking at Honeywell PTM7950. It is a phase change material that basically performs like liquid metal but without the risk of shorting your board. It stays solid at room temp but turns into a highly conductive liquid when the console gets hot. It doesnt dry out like regular grease. I actually used Share Product Wishlist to save all the specific pads and tools I needed for my last teardown so I wouldnt lose the links. Just remember the PS5 uses liquid metal from the factory, so cleaning that off is gonna be a process... definitely watch a few videos first. If you need more tips on the application, just ask!

Building on the earlier suggestion, i'd probably just stick with Arctic. You really cant go wrong with their stuff and its way cheaper than those boutique brands people hype up. Ive used their products for ages and been super satisfied... no complaints ever. Just grab any of the high-end stuff from Arctic and it works well without the crazy price tag. Keeping things simple and reliable is usually the best bet when you're opening up a console this expensive. Honestly tho, i spent the whole morning just cleaning out the dust filters on my pc and ps5 because the airflow was getting blocked by cat hair. My cat shed so much this summer it's actually insane. I had to buy a new handheld vacuum just to keep up with it, but hey, at least the fans aren't screaming anymore. Anyway, just get some solid Arctic paste and youll be fine.

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is highly recommended.
