How to share your Amazon.com Shopping Cart to others?

Hey everyone,

So, I'm trying to get some advice before I potentially mess something up on my 2022 Mazda CX-5. It's still under warranty, and I'm super paranoid about accidentally voiding it! I'm planning on doing a few minor upgrades, like new floor mats (the stock ones are already looking rough after only 15,000 miles!) and maybe a dashcam. I've been browsing Amazon for hours and have a shopping cart full of stuff that *seems* right, but I'd really appreciate it if some more experienced Mazda owners could take a quick look before I pull the trigger. I live in Seattle, so something that can handle the rain would be ideal.

I know Amazon can be a minefield of cheap knockoffs, so I want to make sure I'm getting decent quality without breaking the bank (budget around $200 total for everything). I tried just copying and pasting the links, but it looks messy. Is there a simple way to share my entire Amazon cart with you guys so you can tell me if I'm about to make a terrible mistake and point me to better alternatives? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help!

Had a moment to think about this more and basically everyone is right that sharing the cart directly is a total pain. Just screenshot it or make a public list like the others suggested! Tbh I have been on these forums for a while but I am still pretty new to the technical side of car mods. I have been looking at some performance benchmarks for things that handle the rain well since you mentioned Seattle. Here are a few options that seem to test really well for the price:

  • 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats
  • I saw some tests saying these have amazing grip performance when they are soaking wet so you wont slide around like on the cheap plastic ones.
  • VIOFO A119 V3
  • From what I read the image sensor in this is SO good for catching license plates even in the rain and low light conditions.
  • Nexar Beam Dash Cam
  • This one connects right to your phone which might be easier for a beginner like me to set up? I think these stay closer to your budget than the super expensive brands the other guys mentioned. Maybe check the specs on those and see if they look right for your CX-5? I dont want you to overspend if you dont have to! Hopefully that helps you narrow down what is in your cart right now.

Hey there! I totally get the warranty paranoia – been there, done that! I'm relatively new to Mazda's, but I've been tinkering with cars for years, and Amazon… well, let's just say I've learned some hard lessons there.

Instead of sharing the whole cart (which, yeah, can get messy), have you considered just screenshotting it and posting the image? That way, we can see everything at a glance and give you feedback. Also, listing the *exact* name/model of each item can help a ton.

Regarding floor mats specifically, I actually went through this recently with my wife's old Honda Civic. The stock ones were toast. I ended up getting some WeatherTech knockoffs from Amazon (I know, I know!) because the real WeatherTechs were too pricey at the time, around $150. The knockoffs were about $70. They *looked* great at first, but after just one winter (and a couple of Seattle rainstorms!), they started cracking and didn't fit as well. Lesson learned: sometimes, it's worth spending a bit more. I'm not saying you need WeatherTech, but look at brands like Husky Liners or even just well-reviewed universal fit options on Amazon. For your budget, you can find something decent for around $50-$70, leaving plenty for a dashcam.

As for dashcams, I've tried so many cheap ones that failed within a year. I'd suggest looking at the Vantrue N2 Pro. It's a bit over your budget at around $199, but it's a solid dual dashcam (front and interior). It's saved me once when someone did a hit and run when parked. You can probably find a single-lens one for around $50-$70 from a good brand and still get great service.

Just my two cents from my own experiences! Let me know the specific items you're looking at, and I'm happy to offer more specific advice. Good luck!

Hey! I totally get wanting to run things by the group before clicking 'buy' on Amazon. Sharing the cart directly can be a pain, but there's another option that might be even better for getting focused feedback: create an Amazon list instead. You can make it public and then just share the link.

That said, let's talk options. For floor mats, skip the Amazon generics. In my experience, they wear out fast. I've tried many, and WeatherTech is the way to go, even though they're pricier (around $120-150). Over the years, I've found they hold up way better to Seattle rain and crud, saving you money in the long run because you won't be replacing them every year. As for dashcams, Anker makes some decent ones for around $80. I had one for about 3 years, and it was solid. Just make sure it's got a good parking mode if you park on the street! Happy to help you pick out the exact models once you get that list going!

Hey there! I hear you on the Amazon overwhelm, especially with a new car. Instead of focusing on sharing the cart (which can be tricky), maybe we can tackle this from a 'bang for your buck' angle? For floor mats, have you considered something like WeatherTech? They're a bit pricier (maybe $100-$150), but they last forever. I got a set for my old Civic 5 years ago, and they still look brand new – way cheaper in the long run than replacing cheaper mats every year. As for dashcams, you can get a decent one for around $50-$75. I have a Rexing V1; it's nothing fancy, but it records clearly and hasn't failed me yet. That leaves you some budget wiggle room. Remember, you don't need to spend a fortune to get reliable upgrades! Is there anything specific you're looking for in the dashcam, like front and rear recording? Knowing that might help narrow down the best value option.

Hey! I totally get the warranty worries, and everyone's right, sharing the cart's a hassle. But before you even worry about mats, let's talk safety. For a dashcam, don't cheap out!

Hey there! I'm not super techy, so I've never tried sharing an Amazon cart, but I hear you on wanting a second opinion! I'm also a little paranoid about messing things up, especially with a newer car like yours. Instead of doing it all myself, have you thought about getting the dashcam professionally installed? It might cost a bit more upfront (maybe $100-$150 for installation), but then you KNOW it's done right and you won't accidentally void the warranty. I had a local shop install mine, and I'm really happy I did. Plus, they can advise on placement so it doesn't interfere with any sensors. Floor mats, I'm happy with my WeatherTechs ($120). They work well and no complaints. For Seattle rain, they are great. I'm not saying you *have* to go pro, but for peace of mind, it might be worth considering! Maybe get a quote and compare? Happy to help if you have any more questions!

Hey! I get the warranty worries, and everyone's right, sharing the cart's a hassle. But before you even worry about mats, let's talk safety. For a dashcam, don't cheap out! I learned that the hard way. I fried my old car's electrical system with a $30 special. Now I run a Garmin Mini 2 ($130ish). It's small, reliable, and hasn't glitched in two years. Floor mats are secondary! Think about what could cause an accident and focus on that first. Then, get some WeatherTech mats. They cost more, but they're worth it! Happy to help more!

Hey! Yeah, sharing carts is annoying. Instead of specific brands, I'd suggest checking out sites like WeatherTech or even Costco for floor mats. They're often around $100-$150, a bit more than Amazon's cheapest, but last *way* longer. I got some no-name mats for my old Honda for $60 and they were trashed in a year. Think about long-term costs, you know? For dashcams, brands like Vantrue or Garmin generally have better reliability reviews than the super-cheap ones. Let me know what you find, and I can see if I've heard anything about them!
