Just had a moment to think on this more... I have been using these for years and honestly I love the whole ecosystem! I'm not totally sure about the Paper Pro having a sale because it's so fresh, but I think someone told me they usually stick to their guns on pricing for at least the first year.

• iirc the custom color stack is a massive technical hurdle compared to the older monochrome screens
• the refresh rate on this thing is a huge jump from the older models which is amazing to see
• usually they bundle accessories rather than dropping the unit price if they do anything at all basically dont expect a massive discount but the tech is just fantastic! your daughter is gonna love the writing feel... its honestly the best out there imo!
