Honestly stumbled on this late but dont hold your breath for that sub-1000 price. My experience with these high-end panels has been pretty frustrating lately. I had major issues with backlight bleed on their last few flagships and the dual mode marketing often hides some nasty sub-sampling issues. Watch out for these things before you pre-order:

• Firmware bugs that usually take 6 months to patch
• Noticeable ghosting when switching between the high refresh modes
• Cooling fan noise that gets super annoying in a quiet room I spent way too much on a similar spec screen last year and ended up returning it twice because the HDR implementation was just broken out of the box. Its basically paying to be a beta tester for them at this point tho.

Price should be lower than $1000.
