Stumbled onto this today and yeah, $300 off is decent for Apple, but I would suggest being careful before pulling the trigger. I've used a bunch of these displays and you might want to consider if the 5K is really worth the premium. The Apple Studio Display 27-inch 5K is gorgeous but that 60Hz refresh rate is kinda slow for the price. If you want the same resolution for less, check out the Samsung ViewFinity S9 5K 27-inch. It includes a matte finish and a webcam for cheaper usually, tho the build quality feels a bit more plasticky than the Apple aluminum. If you wanna save some serious cash, make sure to look at the Dell UltraSharp U2723QE 27-inch 4K. Its only 4K, but the IPS Black tech gives you insane contrast and its basically half the price. Unless you're obsessed with the 5K density, the Dell is the smarter buy for most people ngl.
