Is there any good GPU deals during Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Totally agree with the point about the flagship cards; the 50-series stuff will likely be sold out at MSRP anyway, so finding a 'deal' is basically wishful thinking. Honestly, if you're chasing real price-to-performance, you've gotta look at the VRAM-to-dollar ratio. From my experience, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE is the real sleeper hit during these sales. It has GREAT rasterization and enough memory to actually last a few years, unlike some of the entry-level cards. If you absolutely need NVIDIA for DLSS or ray tracing, keep a close watch on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super. It’s technically much more capable than the base 4070 because of that 16GB frame buffer, and retailers often slash prices on 'Super' models to clear stock before the next gen fully takes over. Basically, look for the 'end of life' mid-range cards if you want the most frames for your buck, right?
Honestly, I’ve been on this forum for ages but I'm still trying to figure out all the crazy tech specs tbh. From my experience shopping Prime Day though, the super new cards like the 5080 probably wont have big discounts??? Usually, it's the mid-range stuff that gets the actual deals. Idk for sure, but maybe keep an eye on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super? I’ve seen those mid-tier cards go on 'Lightning Deals' for way cheaper before. Also, definitely check the Amazon Warehouse deals during the event... I think you can get an extra 20% off sometimes? That's how I got my last one and it worked great!!! TL;DR: Skip the flagship hype and look for Lightning Deals on mid-range cards like the 4070 series for the best value!!!
What GPU do you planning to buy?
Hope RTX 5080 price will be around $1000, similar to launch price.
AMD GPU or Intel GPU?
