Building on the earlier suggestion, the older inventory is definitely where the real movement happens because they gotta clear those shelves. Prime Day is basically just a giant warehouse cleaning event anyway. Honestly just stick with a brand like ASUS or MSI and you cant go wrong. Their reliability is usually way better than the bargain brands that pop up with those crazy flash deals. Ive seen too many of those cheaper cards run hot or have fan bearings go out after a year... not worth the headache. Also worth checking other retailers like Newegg or B&H at the same time cuz they usually run counter-sales to compete with Amazon. Just stay with the big names for peace of mind.

It's hard to say for sure this far in advance, but based on past Prime Day sales, there's a good chance Amazon will have some solid discounts on NVIDIA graphics cards. Keep an eye out in particular for deals on the xx70 and xx80 series cards, as those tend to see the biggest price drops. I'd suggest checking deal sites and setting up price alerts a few weeks before Prime Day 2024 to get a sense of the best prices.
