I recently purchased an HP Elitebook and I'm looking for a compatible docking station to enhance my setup. I need a docking station that supports multiple displays, preferably with HDMI and DisplayPort options. Additionally, I require several USB ports for connecting peripherals like a keyboard, mouse, and external storage devices.

I would appreciate any recommendations for reliable and feature-rich docking stations that are fully compatible with HP Elitebook models. It would be great if you could share your experiences and suggest options at different price points to help me make an informed decision.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Like someone mentioned, the G5 is a solid choice, but honestly, it can feel a bit sluggish if you're pushing multiple high-res screens. Over the years, I've found that Elitebooks really benefit from a proper Thunderbolt connection instead of just basic USB-C to get the most out of the video bandwidth. The HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 120W is a major step up in terms of stability. If you're looking at other brands for comparison, the Dell WD22TB4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock is a beast and works surprisingly well with HP firmware. In my experience, the Dell actually runs a bit cooler than the HP G4 when you've got a lot of external storage and USB devices plugged in at once. Quick tip: make sure your specific Elitebook supports Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 4 on the port you're using. If it's a budget model, you might get capped at 4K 30Hz on dual displays. Also, definitely update the dock firmware immediately... saves so much time troubleshooting random monitor flickers later on.
