I've tried the Magic Mouse, but I find it uncomfortable and it causes audio stuttering when using Bluetooth devices simultaneously. I need a mouse that is reliable for everyday tasks and works well with applications like Final Cut Pro X. Any suggestions for a mouse that offers good ergonomics and performance without the Bluetooth issues? Thanks!

Here are some excellent wireless mouse options for your iMac:

Best Overall: Logitech MX Master 3S (~$100)
Great ergonomics, excellent scroll wheel, customizable buttons, and works seamlessly with macOS. The battery lasts weeks and it charges via USB-C. Perfect for productivity work.

Budget-Friendly: Logitech M705 Marathon (~$40)
Reliable, comfortable for long use, and the battery lasts up to 3 years. Simple but effective for everyday tasks.

Apple Ecosystem: Apple Magic Mouse (~$80)
If you want the most integrated experience with macOS gestures and the sleek Apple aesthetic. Touch surface supports swipes and scrolling gestures.

Portable Option: Logitech MX Anywhere 3S (~$80)
Compact, works on any surface (even glass), and has the same great sensor as the MX Master but in a travel-friendly size.

Gaming: Logitech G Pro X Superlight (~$150)
If you do any gaming, this is incredibly lightweight with a top-tier sensor and excellent wireless performance.

For most iMac users, I'd recommend the MX Master 3S - it's comfortable for all-day use, has great macOS integration, and the customizable buttons can really boost your productivity. The Logitech Options+ software lets you set up custom gestures and button functions that work great with Mac apps.

MX 3S is the best.

I'd recommend checking out the Razer Pro Click Mini if you travel with your setup. Super portable, surprisingly comfortable for its size, and has both Bluetooth and USB dongle connectivity options. Battery life is excellent and it works great with macOS despite Razer being known mostly for gaming peripherals.

Honestly, its disappointing how many people ignore the Bluetooth interference issue you mentioned. I've had similar issues where my mouse made my audio crackle or drop out entirely. Standard Bluetooth just isnt as reliable for editing in Final Cut Pro X as people think. My main tip is to stop looking at Bluetooth-only mice. You really need something with a dedicated 2.4GHz USB receiver. Even the high-end productivity models can be disappointing if the connection isnt solid. I'd suggest checking the latency benchmarks on RTINGS to see which sensors actually stay stable under load. Also, make sure you use a USB extension cable to move your receiver away from the back of the iMac. Those USB 3.0 ports are notorious for creating interference that kills wireless signals. Gaming-grade sensors like those in the Logitech G series might look a bit much, but the performance for scrubbing timelines is kinda superior to anything Apple makes.

I recommend the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac. It's highly ergonomic, offers excellent performance for applications like Final Cut Pro X, and can connect via Bluetooth or its USB receiver.

Apple's Magic Mouse 2 is the obvious choice if you want something that matches your iMac's aesthetic perfectly. The touch surface is great for gestures, and you never need to worry about battery replacements since it's rechargeable. Just be aware of the awkward charging port on the bottom - you can't use it while charging. I've had mine for 3 years without issues.
