I need a reliable and affordable motherboard for basic home office tasks. Which motherboards offer good value without sacrificing essential features like connectivity and stability? What features can I comfortably forgo to keep costs down without compromising everyday performance?

Tbh, budget builds are my favorite thing to talk about because you really have to weigh the pros and cons to get the best bang for ur buck. Before diving into specific models, what kind of total budget are we looking at for the whole system? Like, are you trying to keep the mobo under $80, or is there a bit of wiggle room??? Also, what size case are you planning to use? I've found that going with a micro-ATX (mATX) board is usually the best way to save a solid 20 or 30 bucks without losing anything you'd actually need for office work (at least thats what worked for me on my last few builds). Honestly, for a standard office setup, you can basically ditch stuff like fancy heatsinks, RGB headers, and extra PCIe slots. Connectivity is the one thing you don't want to skimp on, though—are you planning to use a wired ethernet connection, or is built-in Wi-Fi a must-have for your space?
