Want to build a setup for High-End. Which monitor would you recommend?
My setup: ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM for High-End - runs great! The brightness is sufficient even in bright rooms The HDR support provides excellent contrast and color depth.
My setup: Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED for High-End - runs great! The build quality is solid The panel technology ensures accurate colors and good viewing angles.
Have you thought about OLED vs IPS? For High-End both have advantages.
For High-End I would take Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED without hesitation. The image quality is excellent The low input lag is perfect for competitive gaming.
Long-term experience: Using Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED for about a year and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this monitor was the best choice. The performance clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.
For High-End, ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM is an excellent choice. The response time is extremely fast The HDR support provides excellent contrast and color depth.
Additionally, you should note: The latest generation offers significantly better performance than previous models. Especially ideal for demanding applications and multitasking. Compatibility with modern software applications is very good, and the image quality is also convincing.
My clear recommendation for High-End: LG UltraGear 32GS95UE. The response time is extremely fast The connectivity includes all modern ports you need.
Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better performance. Very good compatibility with modern software applications. Can be used without problems for various tasks. Even after hours of work, no performance losses. Very good color accuracy, even at high brightness.
For High-End I would also check the connectivity. Do you need multiple inputs?

Saw this earlier but just getting to it now. I definitely agree with goldwoman on the OLED vs IPS thing, its a big decision that people gloss over. Honestly, when I first started building my setup, I was so worried about making the wrong choice that I spent weeks reading forums... ended up buying a screen that was way too dim for my sunny office and had to deal with a huge return process. It was such a headache. Now I always double check the specs for reliability over just raw speed. Before you pull the trigger on anything expensive tho, what does your actual room setup look like? Like, do you have a lot of windows or do you play in the dark? It really affects which panel tech stays reliable for your eyes over time. TL;DR: Choosing the right panel type is a huge factor for reliability. Room lighting determines if a high-end screen is actually usable for you.
