For Budget I would definitely pay attention to the resolution, especially if it's about image quality.

I can warmly recommend HP Omen 27q for Budget. The response time is extremely fast The color calibration out of the box is very good.

My personal experience: I've tested various models, and HP Omen 27q was superior in all tests. The colors remain accurate even under full load, which is important for long work sessions. Very good future-proofing through modern technology and fast response times.

Honestly, if youre looking for what the community usually hypes up for budget builds, there are a few heavy hitters that always pop up in reviews. Its kinda hard to pick just one because it depends on if you want 1440p or if you wanna stick to 1080p to save some extra cash.

  • Gigabyte M27Q: This one is super popular because it has a built-in KVM switch which is handy if you use a laptop too. The colors are great for the price, though some people complain about the BGR subpixel thing making text look a bit blurry, but basically most dont notice it.
  • LG 27GP850-B: This is like the gold standard for mid-range budget picks. Its got a really fast Nano IPS panel so motion is super smooth. Tbh the contrast isnt the best for dark rooms but for fast gaming it really slaps.
  • ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q: If youre really trying to keep costs down and stick to 1080p, this is usually the go-to. Its solid, cheap, and gets the job done without any crazy frills that youre gonna pay extra for. I personally think the Gigabyte is the best value if you can deal with the text layout, but yeah, check out some recent video reviews to see what youre getting into.

Have you thought about OLED vs IPS? For Budget both have advantages.
