I’m on a tight budget but still want a decent gaming experience. The Acer Nitro V 16 and Dell G15 seem like good options. Which one offers better performance for the price? Are there any other models I should consider?
Just catching up on this thread! I totally agree that the budget market is actually pretty decent right now... I've been doing some research because I'm also looking for something under $1k, and tbh it's a lot to take in lol. Based on what I’ve been reading (still learning the ropes here!!), here is how a few other brands compare from a market value perspective: - Lenovo LOQ 15: This one seems really popular lately because the build quality feels a bit more solid than some other entry-level brands. But I heard the battery life is kind of "meh"??
- HP Victus 15: It’s usually one of the cheapest options and looks really clean for school or work, but like, the screen hinge is supposedly a bit wobbly...
- Dell G15 Gaming Laptop: Since you asked about this one, people say it's built like a tank and has great cooling for the price, but it’s basically a brick to carry around in a backpack!!! Basically, it's a trade-off between power and how portable you need it to be. Honestly, it's hard to choose... Does anyone know which of these brands usually has better customer support if something goes wrong???
Acer Nitro V Gaming Laptop costs $749 right now, make one of the best gaming laptops under $1000.
