Caught this thread a bit late but i wanted to share what i learned during my last upgrade. When i switched to 1440p, i realized that raw refresh rate isnt the only thing that matters for a smooth experience. You really gotta look at motion clarity and panel tech. I personally went with the LG 27GP850-B 27 inch UltraGear QHD a while back because of its Nano IPS panel. The colors are great, but the real winner is the response time. Most cheap panels have this annoying ghosting effect behind moving objects, but these fast IPS panels keep things crisp. If you have the budget, honestly, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM 27 inch is currently the gold standard for 1440p. Because its OLED, each pixel turns off completely, so the response time is practically zero. No IPS or VA can touch that level of clarity in fast shooters. Basically, my advice is:

• Check the GtG response times, not just the advertised Hz.
• Look for G-Sync or FreeSync Premium Pro to avoid tearing.
• IPS is great for all-around use, OLED is king for pure gaming speed.

For 1440p Gaming I would also consider the refresh rate. 144Hz or higher is recommended for gaming.

My clear recommendation for 1440p Gaming: Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED. The color accuracy is outstanding The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better performance. Very good compatibility with modern software applications. Can be used without problems for various tasks. Even after hours of work, no performance losses. Very good color accuracy, even at high brightness.
