I just upgraded to a 240Hz 1440p monitor and need a GPU that keeps up in Warzone and Apex. I have about $800 to spend.

  • RTX 4070 Ti Super
  • RX 7900 XT

I really want to maximize my frame rates without overspending. Which card is currently best for competitive 1440p?

Just catching up on this thread. Basically, you're choosing between raw speed and the NVIDIA ecosystem. If you want to keep it under budget tho, I'd honestly look at the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB GDDR6. It's usually priced more aggressively than the others. Ngl, don't overpay for a flashy shroud; the performance is the same and you'll save some serious cash for other upgrades.

Honestly, youre better off with the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB GDDR6. It offers better raw rasterization in Warzone and Apex, basically what you need to hit max frames at 1440p.

If youre aiming for that 240Hz ceiling, honestly the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB GDDR6X is my pick for competitive play. Raw FPS is cool, but NVIDIA Reflex gives you a real edge with input lag in Warzone. It makes everything feel so much snappier. Check out the Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB GDDR6X... it usually hits that 800 dollar price point and has a solid cooler.

Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.
