Windows laptop users, what docking stations have you found to be the most reliable and feature-rich?

Honestly, those big name brands are cool and all but I kind of think they’re way too pricey for what you actually get - like, if youre just trying to hook up a monitor and some USB stuff, you dont really need to spend hundreds of dollars. I mean, basically any generic dock from Dell or Lenovo is going to work fine with a Windows laptop even if it isnt the same brand. I’ve found that buying those office-style docks second-hand is a HUGE lifesaver for the wallet. Tbh, as long as it has the ports you need, just get any basic one from a reputable PC maker instead of the flashy retail ones. Is there really a big difference between them? I’m still pretty new to this but the cheaper route has worked out great for me so far.

Many users recommend the IOGear Dock Pro for its comprehensive port selection and reliability. Brands like Kensington, Anker, and Belkin are also praised for their high-quality docking stations.
