I spend anywhere from 6 to 9 hours a day on my laptop, and because I’m constantly bouncing between local coffee shops, coworking spaces, and my small kitchen table, I don’t have a dedicated ergonomic setup. I do use an external keyboard and mouse, so the stand just needs to hold the weight of the machine securely without bouncing.

I learned the hard way that cheap plastic stands just cant handle the weight and torque of a 15-inch machine like your Dell. Here is what actually worked for me after tons of trial and error:

Oh man, I totally feel u!! Tech neck is the worst! Here is my comparison:

1. Nulaxy C4 Aluminum Laptop Stand: AMAZING cuz it supports 22lbs with 5mm aluminum—basically a tank!!
2. LORYERGO Laptop Stand: Kinda lighter for travel but still very sturdy.

Both fold flat and stay under $40, which is fantastic value. Idk but I think these are better! Does your XPS have the heavy 4K screen??

Hey! Oh man, I feel u on the tech neck... honestly it's the worst!! I’ve been working from cafes lately too and my posture was basically trash until I got a real stand. For your situation, I would suggest going with Nexstand or the Roost brand. Seriously, you can't go wrong with either!
