Honestly so fed up with the Walmart app right now its driving me crazy. Im trying to organize all the grocery and supply stuff for my grandpas 80th birthday party this Sunday here in Columbus and I have like 50 items in my cart but I cant find a way to just send the whole list to my sister. She's the one with the shared family account credit card so she needs to be the one to actually hit the checkout button but I spent two hours picking out exactly what we need.

I tried looking for a share button or a link generator but I dont see anything besides sharing individual items one by one which is totally useless for a $300 order. Does anyone know a workaround for this? I need this sorted by tonight because we have to schedule the pickup for tomorrow morning.

  • Must let her see the full cart contents
  • Needs to work on an iPhone
  • Preferably something that doesnt involve me giving her my login again because we always get locked out with the 2FA codes

Is there like a third party extension or some hidden setting I am missing because if I have to manually type out this list for her I might actually lose my mind...

To add to the point above: I went through this for my kids party. Login sharing was a total 2FA mess, and manual lists take way too long. I tried a few browser tools and they were way smoother than the mobile app. If you need to send your whole cart to someone else, Easy Cart Share is probably the easiest way to do it without screenshotting everything.

Unfortunately, Walmart’s backend is basically too restricted for that. The cart is tied to your specific session token and UUID, so a link wont work for your sister. Its super annoying and honestly a waste of time trying to find a workaround tho. Just go with AnyList, you cant go wrong with their shared list stuff. It handles syncing way better than the actual app.

walmart doesnt have a built-in share link feature tho. just to figure out the right workaround:

  • are you both on the iphone app?
  • does she need to edit the items? it helps to know.
