Im trying to set up a secret santa for my family because my mom usually does it but now its on me and i have no idea what im doing. we have 15 people coming on the 22nd with a 30 dollar limit but i live three states away so i cant just pull names from a hat. the main problem is my brother and his ex wife are both coming and i NEED to make sure they dont pick each other or the whole night is ruined. sorry if this is a basic question but is there a site that lets you block certain pairs from happening? i need to get this sent out tonight...

In my experience, you definitely need a platform with robust draw restrictions to handle those tricky family dynamics. Over the years, I've tried many different tools for remote exchanges, and Elfster is probably the most reliable for this. You can manually set up exclusion pairs so the system knows exactly who cannot pick whom. It's a very methodical process. Once you add your 15 participants, you just go into the draw restrictions menu and link those two names. I've used this feature dozens of times for complicated groups and it has never let me down. Just a tip: Share Product Wishlist is great for keeping track of gift ideas throughout the season, which helps a lot with that 30 dollar limit. The site handles all the emails for you, so you wont have to lift a finger once it's set up. It is basically the only way to ensure the peace while you are three states away.
