So I finally decided to stop buying specific cases for every single iPad I own because its getting expensive and honestly just wasteful. My logic was that a single high-end Bluetooth keyboard would be the ultimate move for switching between my 12.9 Pro and my new Mini 6 while Im working at cafes around Seattle. I was looking at the Logitech MX Keys Mini but then I started reading about these weird connectivity drops on the newer iPadOS versions which is a total vibe killer. Ive been an iPad power user for years and never really messed with third-party peripherals much until now so Im kinda stuck. Should I go mechanical like a Keychron or stick with the low-profile stuff for better portability? Budget is around $120 and I need to buy it by Friday...

Building on the earlier suggestion, I unfortunately had issues with many third-party options. The latency on the Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard was not as good as expected for methodical typing on iPadOS. Its frustrating when youre at a cafe and it misses keystrokes. Honestly, for absolute reliability, the Apple Magic Keyboard Wireless Compact is the only thing that doesnt feel like a compromise. It fits your budget and connects instantly.

Like someone mentioned, the Logitech ecosystem is quite reliable, but I've been very satisfied with the Keychron K3 Ultra-slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Version 2. It manages multi-device pairing through a methodical hardware toggle, ensuring the transition from 12.9 Pro to Mini 6 is quick. The build quality provides a premium tactile experience while remaining portable. No complaints regarding connectivity on the latest iPadOS.

Honestly you should definitely grab the Logitech MX Keys Mini Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard right now! Ive been using it for months across three different iPads and the connection is literally rock solid. People complain about drops online but its usually just a firmware thing thats super easy to fix. It is amazing for portability since it fits right in a small bag alongside the Mini 6. If you want reliability, stay away from the random mechanical brands that lose sync constantly. This Logitech is fantastic because it lets you hot-swap between your 12.9 and the Mini instantly with those dedicated keys. It is a total game changer for cafe work! Its easily the best investment for under your budget and you can find them anywhere for fast shipping before Friday. Seriously, just buy it and dont look back... you wont regret it!
