Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my charging setup because the standard bricks just aren't cutting it anymore. Between my iPad Pro and my partner's iPad Mini, we're constantly waiting hours for a full charge. I'm a bit confused by all the different wattages—do I really need a 30W or 67W adapter, or is that overkill for these devices? I’ve seen some compact GaN chargers online, but I'm worried about heat and long-term battery health. Does anyone have a go-to fast charger that’s reliable and works across the whole current iPad lineup? I'd love to hear your recommendations for something durable and relatively portable!

Seconding the recommendation above—the Baseus 30W GaN5 Fast Charger is amazing cuz it stays cool and fits ur budget!!
I've tried many over the years. For the best value:
- Ugreen Nexode 30W GaN Charger ($15)
- Anker 313 Charger 45W ($22)
Ugreen is cheaper, so its basically PERFECT.
tbh i have the exact same problem at home. my ipad pro and my kids mini are always dead at the same time and the old bricks take a literal lifetime to get them back to green. its super annoying... since you're worried about reliability, a quick tip: spend the extra few bucks on something with proper heat dissipation. ive been using the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 30W USB-C GaN Wall Charger lately and it stays cool even under load. also, check out the Satechi 30W USB-C GaN Wall Charger if you want something super tiny that wont fail on you in six months.
Can vouch for this
