Ive been building PCs since the DDR2 days but these current entry-level board prices are stressing me out big time. Im stuck on a tight 130 dollar limit for a 1080p build I need to finish by Friday and everything looks like junk. What are some solid budget-friendly motherboards that dont have total garbage VRMs?
I'm very satisfied with the ASRock B550M Pro4 Micro ATX for budget builds. It works well because the VRM layout is actually robust enough to handle decent chips without thermal issues. I've used this board in several 1080p systems and have no complaints regarding stability. Honestly, it's a solid choice when you need reliability under that 130 dollar mark.
Ive built tons of systems and Gigabyte B550M DS3H Micro ATX always handles the stress tests best.
