Tbh I agree that resolution is huge, but $1200 is a realy big budget compared to some of the stuff mentioned so far. Those are solid value screens but you can get top-tier tech for that much money. Most people in the enthusiast groups are suggesting OLEDs lately because the contrast is basically on another level. I've been looking at community reviews and these two come up constantly:
- Alienware AW3423DWF - Its basically the community favorite for ultrawide and the colors are insane. - Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 - Very thin and looks great on a desk, tho the smart features can be a bit wierd to navigate. Just make sure your desk is deep enough for there stands because they can take up a bit of space.
