What size are you thinking? 27 inch or 32 inch? That makes a big difference for PlayStation 5.

For PlayStation 5 Alienware AW2725DF is ideal. Good price-performance ratio.

Have ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD for PlayStation 5 in use. Works perfectly.

For PlayStation 5 definitely ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM. Very good performance for the price.

Do you already have a GPU requirement? That could influence the monitor choice.

Jumping in because honestly, my hunt for the perfect PS5 display has been a bit of a letdown. I spent so much time obsessing over stuff like full 48Gbps bandwidth and 10-bit color depth, but unfortunately, the panels I actually bought had some pretty bad blooming issues that ruined the HDR. It just wasnt as good as expected given the price tag. I spent hours measuring nits and looking for ghosting in dark scenes, only to find out the firmware was totally buggy. It was super frustrating... really felt like a beta tester. Technical specs on paper are one thing, but actual performance is another beast entirely. If you want to save yourself the hassle, just go with Sony. Since they literally make the console, their stuff usually works the best with the PS5 features like Auto HDR Tone Mapping. Or honestly, just grab an LG and you basically cant go wrong with their tech for gaming. They seem to have the processing figured out better than most others right now.

My setup: Alienware AW3225QF for PlayStation 5 - runs great! The on-screen display is user-friendly The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

I spent weeks digging through subreddits and tech forums before I finally pulled the trigger on my current setup. Honestly, the specs can get pretty overwhelming when you start looking into stuff like chroma subsampling and 40Gbps vs 48Gbps bandwidth for the HDMI ports. I was basically obsessing over local dimming zones and how different panels handle HDR in actual gameplay versus just what the manufacturer claims. The community reviews were realy helpful because they pointed out some wierd firmware issues with certain units that the big review sites totally missed. I ended up going with a model that most people on here seemed to agree had the best VRR implementation for the console, and it’s been a game changer... just seeing that 120Hz signal actually lock in without flickering is huge. It definately takes some digging through user feedback to find the sweet spot between peak brightness and response times, tbh.

ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A is definitely the best choice for PlayStation 5. The viewing angles are excellent The ergonomic stand allows for comfortable positioning.

Why this monitor? The performance convinces in all tests - both for gaming and for content creation. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already done several projects with it, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding tasks.
