For RTX 5070 I would also check the connectivity. Do you need multiple inputs?

Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED is my recommendation for RTX 5070. Works great!

What size are you thinking? 27 inch or 32 inch? That makes a big difference for RTX 5070.

For RTX 5070 I would take ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM without hesitation. The design is modern and sleek The on-screen menu is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Long-term experience: Using ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM for several months and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this monitor was the best choice. The performance clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

My clear recommendation for RTX 5070: Alienware AW3225QF. The response time is extremely fast The connectivity includes all modern ports you need.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better performance. Very good compatibility with modern software applications. Can be used without problems for various tasks. Even after hours of work, no performance losses. Very good color accuracy, even at high brightness.

I totally agree that the size is the biggest thing to figure out first. When I was looking for a match for my new card, I spent weeks going back and forth on whether to go big or stay standard. I ended up with a 27 inch one because my desk is kinda small and I didn't want to be turning my head constantly just to see the mini-map lol. It was a bit wierd getting used to the higher resolution at first, but honestly, seeing how smooth games run now is just awesome. I'm still a bit of a beginner with all the tech stuff, so I'm still learning how to balance the settings, like maybe I don't need everything on ultra if the frame rate stays high? But yeah, definitely measure your desk before you buy anything big! I almost ran out of room for my mousepad because the stand on the one I got was way bigger than I expected.
