Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade to the Ryzen 7 9700X and need advice on the best RAM to pair with it. I'm looking at DDR5 but not sure about speed, timings, or capacity. Should I go for 32GB or is 16GB still enough for gaming and productivity work? What speeds does the 9700X handle well without breaking the bank? Any specific brands or kits you'd recommend? Thanks for any suggestions!

For the 9700X, DDR5-6000 with CL30 is the sweet spot - it gives you excellent performance without breaking the bank. The G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30 with AMD EXPO support is probably your best bet. DDR5-6000 works perfectly with the 2000MHz fabric clock, which is optimal for this CPU.
