What is the best way to share a Walmart cart remotely?

I'm trying to figure out something that feels like it should be easy but honestly I'm stumped. So my mom moved down to Florida last month and she's starting to have some trouble getting around the grocery store plus she always forgets half the stuff she needs. I want to be able to go on the Walmart website or the app here in Chicago and basically fill up her grocery cart for her. Like I put in the milk and the bread and the specific vitamins she likes.

But here is the thing... I cant find a share cart button anywhere?? I looked all over the app and I even tried googling it but all the stuff that came up was about sharing a registry for a baby shower or something and thats not what I need. I just want her to be able to see what I picked out and then she can put in her credit card and hit order. Or maybe I can pay for it? I don't know how that works either.

I really need a way to do this that is:

  • super simple for her because she gets frustrated with tech stuff really fast
  • free because I don't want to pay for some weird third party app
  • works between an iPhone (me) and her tablet which is an Android
  • lets me see her local store inventory because I know things are different there than here

Is there like a login trick? Should I just give her my password and we use the same account? Im worried that if we both are logged in at the same time it will kick one of us out or mess up the delivery address. I really want to get this set up by this weekend because she is running low on stuff. Sorry if this is a really basic thing that everyone knows how to do but I am just totally lost with this app. I tried sending her screenshots of the items but then she has to go find them herself and that defeats the whole point. Does anyone have a trick for this...

Walmart makes this way harder than it should be. I found Easy Cart Share is the simplest fix. It lets you build the cart and send it over without messing with logins.

Walmart is honestly so behind on this... it's really disappointing they haven't built a simple share button yet. Unfortunately, you need to be super careful about just sharing your login info. I've had issues where the app keeps switching back to my local store zip code instead of where the delivery is actually going. It’s a huge mess. Maybe check out this tool for a better way to handle it.

> Should I just give her my password and we use the same account? Honestly I wouldnt recommend sharing passwords since it messes with the location settings. I am pretty satisfied with Share-a-Cart and it works well enough for my needs, no complaints on reliability so far. Florida is such a huge move though! My cousin just moved to Sarasota last year and all he talks about now is the humidity and the massive lizards in his backyard. Chicago is still kinda gloomy so I am actually thinking about visiting him soon, even though the food scene here in the city is unbeatable. Found this tiny bakery near my place that makes the best sourdough I have ever had in my life. Went there three times last week just for the crust. Anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.
