I can warmly recommend Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro for High-End. The design is solid The quality out of the box is very good.

My personal experience: I've tested various models, and Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even under full load, which is important for long work sessions. Very good future-proofing through modern technology and reliable performance.

Have Corsair Sabre RGB Pro for High-End in use. Works perfectly.

What size are you thinking? That makes a big difference for High-End.

For High-End I would definitely pay attention to the features, especially if it's about performance.

Lmao I was thinking the same thing as lojqdhvxkj... why are we talking about mice and routers? OP is looking for a mic! If youre looking for true high-end, you really have two paths. You can go high-end USB for convenience or the professional XLR route. If you want that broadcast sound everyone recognizes, the Shure SM7B Dynamic Vocal Microphone is the industry standard for a reason. Its a dynamic mic, so its amazing at rejecting background noise like your keyboard or AC, which is huge for streaming. Just keep in mind that with an XLR mic like that, youll need an interface. Something like the Elgato Wave XLR Audio Interface is perfect for streamers because the software lets you mix all your audio levels easily. If you want something simpler but still premium, the Rode NT1 5th Gen Condenser Microphone is awesome because it actually has both XLR and USB-C ports. Truly high-end audio is honestly more about the room treatment and the interface than just the mic alone, but these are the best places to start if you want to sound pro.

Honestly, am I the only one noticing that everyone is recommending mice and routers for a microphone setup? Kinda weird lol. Tbh, if you want that high-end sound without blowing your entire budget on a professional studio rig, you should look at what the streaming community actually recommends for bang-for-buck value. Most veterans will tell you that you dont need a thousand-dollar setup to sound pro. Just doesnt make sense for most people. I personally think the Shure MV7 is the way to go. Its way more affordable than the industry standard SM7B but gives you that same broadcast vibe. Plus, it has USB so you save money on an interface. Huge plus. Another solid alternative is the Elgato Wave 3.

  • amazing software
  • built in clipping protection
  • way cheaper than full xlr setups Basically, dont get tricked into thinking high-end means most expensive. You can get 95 percent of the way there with these mid-range beasts and keep some cash in your pocket. Makes way more sense...

@Reply #9 - good point! Tbh I was getting pretty disappointed reading about mice and routers in a mic thread lol. Some people just dont read the title. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the SM7B recently. It is not as good as expected if you are looking for true high-end clarity. Technically, its frequency response starts dropping off around 15kHz, which makes it sound a bit dark or muddy for some voices. Plus, you need a ton of clean gain - like 60dB - which usually means buying a Cloudlifter or a pricey interface just to make it usable. Its kind of a headache for a high-end setup. If you want better specs, check out the Earthworks Ethos ($699). It has a much wider 20Hz to 30kHz range and a super fast diaphragm. The detail you get is insane compared to dynamic mics and it just sounds more natural imo. I can help you with the XLR settings if you decide to go that route. TL;DR: SM7B is overhyped and requires too much extra gear. The Earthworks Ethos offers much better technical performance and clarity for a high-end setup.
