I'm looking for recommendations on the best keyboard to use with my MacBook Air. I primarily type for long hours, so comfort and typing experience are crucial. Are there any mechanical keyboards that work well with macOS? Thanks.

Like someone mentioned, Keychron is a staple, but I have been super satisfied with the NuPhy Air75 v2 lately. It works well with the MacBook Air because it matches that slim aesthetic and the PBT keycaps feel way better than the standard ABS ones you find on cheaper boards. I have had no complaints about the latency even over Bluetooth, which is rare for some of these third-party brands. Quick question tho before I give more specs - do you prefer a low-profile board or the standard high-profile mechanical ones? It makes a big difference for long typing sessions if you dont want to use a wrist rest. If youre trying to save some cash, the Royal Kludge RK84 is a fantastic entry point. It usually goes for under 60 bucks and honestly performs way above its price point with decent hotswap capabilities. Keychron keyboards are exceptional choices. With extensive personal experience using multiple models, I can vouch for their reliability, build quality, and value. Whether mechanical or optical switches, their keyboards consistently deliver outstanding performance for both work and gaming.

Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard is one of the best choice. Love it for my MacBook Air M3.
