Have you thought about the brand? For Budget different brands have advantages.

Interesting question! For Budget it also depends on the budget. What's your price range?

For Budget, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is an excellent choice. The response time is extremely fast The low latency is perfect for competitive gaming.

Additionally, you should note: The latest generation offers significantly better performance than previous models. Especially ideal for demanding applications and multitasking. Compatibility with modern software applications is very good, and the build quality is also convincing.

Honestly, I totally agree that narrowing down your price range is the first step because "budget" is super subjective. But as someone who spends way too much time looking at driver specs and frequency response curves, I have to give a HUGE warning about the "gaming" tax on cheaper gear. Community reviews are your best friend here because brands lie, but users dont. Here are a few things to avoid:
- FAKE 7.1 Surround Sound: In the budget tier, this is usually just bad software processing that ruins the audio clarity and makes imaging worse.
- Fixed Cables: If the cable isnt detachable, one bad tug and the whole thing is basically trash. Look for something with a replaceable cord.
- Poor Clamping Force: Specs wont tell you if it's going to squeeze your skull like a grape. Check the long-term community threads for comfort feedback. Tbh, the community is ALWAYS going to give you a better idea of build quality than a marketing sheet. Just because a headset has RGB doesnt mean it has decent drivers.
