TBH I've been lurking on a few audio subreddits lately and basically everyone says that at this price point, ur better off going with a wired set to get decent specs. Most budget wireless ones under $50 seem to have really high latency or bad build quality, maybe? I'm not 100% sure but that's what I keep reading lol. I've seen these two pop up in almost every community recommendation list for beginners: * Razer BlackShark V2 X - Supposed to have really good passive noise cancellation and 7.1 surround sound specs for a budget model.
* HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 - People say the 50mm drivers are actually decent and the mic quality is clear for Discord. I’m still learning about the technical side of frequency response and stuff, but these seem like the safest bets according to the community reviews I've read. Hope that helps!
Works great for me
HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is definitely the best choice for under $50. The software support is very good The ergonomic design allows for comfortable positioning.
Why this product? The performance convinces in all tests - both for gaming and for content creation. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already done several projects with it, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding tasks.
ngl i totally agree with xuvvoyszqs about sticking to wired gear when youre on a budget. i learned that lesson the hard way a while back when i bought a cheap wireless set thinking it would be more convenient. honestly it was kind of a nightmare... the audio would lag just enough to be annoying in shooters and the build quality was so flimsy that the hinge snapped after like two months of normal use. since then i have stayed with a solid wired pair for my daily gaming sessions and the difference in reliability is huge. basically you get way more bang for your buck without all the technical headaches that come with budget wireless tech. my current setup is just a reliable corded one and it hasnt failed me once... way better than dealing with battery issues mid-match.
For under $50 I would take SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Best choice currently.
