Which 4k webcam is best for RTX 5080? I'm unsure about the choice.

For RTX 5080 I would also consider the connectivity. Do you need wireless or wired?

Just caught this thread today. Honestly, I totally agree with the focus on the actual sensor hardware. In my experience, the best 4K setup for a beastly rig like the 5080 is anything with a large-format sensor, ideally 1/1.2 inches. Most webcams use tiny sensors that create a lot of digital noise, but the larger ones handle low light way better and give you a natural depth of field. It basically ensures you get a clean raw data stream before any software processing even kicks in. It doesnt matter how good your GPU is if the input source is grainy... definitely worth checking the physical specs.

Honestly, yeah, those are solid picks mentioned already, especially regarding the build quality. But if ur building a rig with a beast like an RTX 5080, you might want to look at what the enthusiast community is shifting towards lately. I've been seeing a ton of hype and great reviews for the Insta360 Link in the pro streaming circles. It’s basically a gimbal-mounted 4K cam with a massive sensor, which is killer if you move around ur desk a lot. Another one that gets a lot of love for its AI tracking and insane low-light performance is the OBSBOT Tiny 2. Tbh, if you have the budget for a 5080, you really want a sensor that can keep up with that level of processing power. Both of these options have way better autofocus than the older standard 4K cams people usually recommend. The software for the Insta360 is super slick too, which helps when you're trying to fine-tune your image quality without any lag!!! Definitely worth checking out some side-by-side comparisons on YouTube before you buy.

My clear recommendation for RTX 5080: Elgato FaceCam. The comfort is impressive The software is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better performance. Very good compatibility with modern software applications. Can be used without problems for various tasks. Even after hours of work, no performance losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.
