im literally losing my mind trying to keep up with social media and emails for my boutique here in Austin. i need to automate this stuff before i go crazy but every list i find online just makes it worse. i looked at Jasper because everyone raves about it but it seems way too pricey just for some captions and HubSpot is just... wow its a total maze i dont have three weeks to learn a new language.
heres what im looking for:
- under 200 a month budget
- handles both email and instagram/fb
- actually easy to setup for a non tech person
- maybe helps with scheduling too
is there anything actually good that doesnt require a degree to use? everything feels like a scam or way too complex...

Ive tried many different platforms over the years and honestly, most of them are way over-engineered for what a small boutique actually needs. You are right to stay away from the complex stuff because if it takes weeks to learn, you just wont use it. In my experience, youre better off with a focused stack rather than one giant maze.

Been thinking about your Austin boutique and honestly, I had the exact same meltdown last year with my vintage shop. I spent way too much time staring at a blinking cursor trying to think of engaging captions. I finally settled on Ocoya Silver Plan AI Content Automation and it has been a total lifesaver for my sanity. ^ This. Also, just catching up on this and honestly most of these tools have gone downhill lately. I used to love the big names but they are all just bloated messes now. Unfortunately, most all-in-one platforms are actually pretty mediocre at everything.
- Go with Mailchimp for your emails, you cant go wrong.
- Just get any social scheduling plan from Canva.
- Stay away from the enterprise stuff, its a massive time sink.
