I'm looking for recommendations that can help with video generation, editing, and adding effects. Are there any specific features I should look for in these tools? Any insights on user-friendliness and pricing would also be appreciated!
Honestly, if youre looking at the long-term cost, you really gotta move away from those subscription-based cloud generators. I've been doing this for a couple years now and the monthly fees for those high-end services eventually kill your margins. Since this is an AI PC forum, you should basically be leveraging your own hardware to save money. For the quick TikTok workflow, CapCut Desktop is pretty much the industry standard for speed, and most of their AI tools like auto-captions and background removal are free or very cheap. If you want to get more technical, I highly recommend DaVinci Resolve. It uses a Neural Engine that handles things like Magic Mask and Smart Reframe locally on your GPU. It’s a one-time payment for the Studio version (or totally free for the base), which is SO much better than being bled dry by monthly credits. Running everything locally means you arent waiting on server queues and your data stays private, which is a huge plus tbh.
Wait really?? Thats actually super helpful. I always thought it was the other way around.
