I'm planning to build a rig with the new Ryzen 9 9950X3D and need advice on motherboard selection. Looking for something with robust VRMs for potential overclocking, good I/O options, and PCIe 5.0 support. Budget is flexible but prefer value for money. Currently considering the ASUS ROG Crosshair or MSI MEG series, but open to other suggestions. What's your experience with high-end AM5 boards that would pair well with this beast of a CPU?

The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero and Apex are excellent choices with robust VRMs and PCIe 5.0. For alternatives, consider the MSI MEG X870E ACE or the Gigabyte X870E AORUS Master.
