I'm looking to upgrade my system with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and need recommendations for RAM. I plan to use it for gaming and 3D rendering, so I'm considering 128GB. I've heard that AMD CPUs handle dual-channel RAM better, so I’m thinking of going with a 64GBx2 configuration. What RAM kits do you recommend for optimal performance and compatibility? Any specific brands or models that work well with this CPU?

DDR5 6000 CL30 is the sweet spot. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=DDR5+6000+CL30&tag=7649-20

Just built with a 9950X3D last month and went with G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30. It's on AMD's QVL and has been rock solid. The sweet spot for Zen 5 X3D chips seems to be DDR5-6000 with tight timings rather than pushing higher speeds. Zero stability issues so far.

TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-6400 CL32 if you want to push it a bit. Had to tweak some subtimings but hitting those speeds stable. That said, for 99% of users, any DDR5-6000 kit from a reputable brand will be perfect. Don't overthink it!
