I'm looking for a docking station recommendation to support three monitors connected to my laptop. What are some reliable docking stations known to handle triple monitor setups effectively? Ideally, I'd like to know about options with good refresh rate support for all three displays. Any specific models you'd suggest?

Hey there! Triple monitors, eh? I feel your pain – and the productivity boost! Over the years, I've tried many docks, and honestly, the Cable Matters USB-C Triple Display Docking Station (model 201339) has been the rock-solid champ on my desk for the last three years.
I bought it originally for around $250 back in 2021. The key is making sure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) – otherwise, you're sunk. It reliably pushes three 1080p monitors at 60Hz without breaking a sweat. I've even run it with a single 1440p monitor alongside the two 1080p ones, no problem. I've had zero issues with it overheating or dropping connections, which is more than I can say for some of the others I've tried.
