I found a Vizio on Walmart.com for $398 which fits my budget perfectly, but my local store in Austin has it for $449. I read on their official site that they match walmart.com, but then I saw forum posts saying managers have been super strict lately and denying matches if the item is out of stock online.

If I show the cashier the app, will they actually match the online price at register or does it depend on the manager?

Im honestly so fed up with my current monitor, it keeps blacking out randomly mid-game whenever HDR kicks in and Im just completely done with it. I need a replacement immediately because my gaming group is starting a league next weekend and I cant be dealing with a black screen during matches.

My budget is around 400 to 500 bucks max, and I need something I can get quickly shipped to me here in Ohio. Here is what I absolutely need:

True HDMI 2.1 support for 4K at 120Hz

Low input lag for shooters like Warzone

Reliable HDR that doesnt break the screen

Every review site says something different and Im losing my mind trying to filter out the sponsored garbage. Does anyone have a setup that actually works flawlessly with the Series X?

So our annual family Secret Santa is coming up in exactly three weeks and honestly Im already stressed out. We have family split between Boston and London, so we do everything online with a strict $50 limit. Last year was a total disaster because my sister ended up getting the exact same makeup organizer from two different people. Both cousins swear they checked her Elfster list but somehow the system let them both buy it. It was so awkward and trying to return stuff internationally is a nightmare with shipping fees.

Im trying to prevent this from happening again this year and Im torn between two ways to handle it.

Option A is to strictly enforce using Elfsters built-in "Mark as Purchased" button. Im leaning toward this because its the most seamless way, but Im really worried that my older relatives, like my 70-year-old uncle, are going to mess it up or forget to click it. Also does it actually hide the item from the wishlist owner? Im paranoid she will see what she is getting and it will ruin the whole Christmas morning vibe.

Option B is to just make a separate shared Google Sheet where everyone logs what they bought. It would definitely prevent duplicates because we can see everything in real time, but it totally ruins the surprise if the recipient accidentally opens the link. Plus its another link for people to manage and my family is not tech-savvy at all.

We have to get this sorted by next weekend so people can start buying and shipping. Is there a specific setting on Elfster to make the built-in system foolproof so duplicates literally cannot happen, or is the Google Sheet my only safe bet?

Ive been the designated tech person for my family for years and usually I just set up a shared Google Doc or a spreadsheet for Christmas but this year its just becoming a total nightmare. My parents are getting older and they keep accidentally deleting other peoples rows in the sheet or they cant figure out how to comment on stuff to claim a gift so we end up with double purchases which defeats the whole point. I tried using Elfster last year but the ads were everywhere and half my cousins couldnt figure out the login because they forgot their passwords within five minutes. Its honestly getting ridiculous how hard it is to just share a basic list.

Im really hitting a wall here because I need something that actually works for everyone from my 14 year old niece to my 75 year old aunt who still struggles with basic apps. I spent like three hours yesterday trying to fix a permissions issue on a Notion page I built and I just gave up because it shouldnt be this hard to just list some stuff I want. My family is spread out across three different states so I cant just do a physical list on the fridge like we did when I was a kid.

Here is what I actually need:

Must be free because I am not paying a subscription just to share a list

Needs to be dead simple for people who arent tech savvy (no complex logins)

Ability to claim or mark items as bought without the list owner seeing it so the surprise isnt ruined

Browser based or a very lightweight app because my uncle has zero storage left on his phone

Must allow links from any site not just Amazon

I really need to get this set up before December 1st because my mom is already texting me every day asking what I want and I have nothing to send her yet. Does anyone have a go-to that isnt a bloated mess of ads or a complex project management tool? Im just so tired of being the family tech support for a simple wishlist...

So I finally landed this massive gig editing some high-end stuff for a travel agency here in London and they're sending me 8K raw files from a RED camera which is way beyond what my old setup can handle. Ive been editing professionally for like 8 years now and usually my i9-10900K is a beast but man, it is Choking on this timeline even with proxies. I'm super hyped for the work but I gotta upgrade like yesterday because the first delivery is due next Tuesday.

I’ve always been an Intel guy because of the QuickSync support for H.264/H.265 encoding which is basically a life saver for my workflow. I was looking at the i9-14900K since I have about £650 set aside just for the chip but then I started reading all these weird reports about voltage issues and stability problems with the high-end 14th gen stuff and now I'm second guessing everything. I need this to be stable because I cant have the system crashing mid-render when I'm on a deadline. Is it better to just grab a 13900K and save a few bucks or is the 14th gen refresh actually worth it for the extra clock speeds? Also is the i7-14700K actually competitive enough for heavy 8K rendering or am I gonna regret not going for the full i9?

I've been messing around with the Walmart Creator program for about two weeks now and honestly the manual part is killing my soul. I'm trying to get a big push going for dorm room essentials since college starts back up soon in my area and I have a list of probably 75 different items I want to share across my Pinterest and Facebook groups.

The problem is doing them one at a time is taking forever. I did some digging and saw people mentioning Buffer or Hootsuite for social media management but those seem more like they're for just scheduling a post you already made manually. They dont really scrape the info or make it easy to bulk upload a bunch of product URLs and have them turned into nice looking posts with the current price and stuff. I also found a couple of random Chrome extensions that claim to do bulk sharing but they have zero reviews and look kind of like malware honestly.

I need something that pulls images automatically

Budget is around $25ish a month

Needs to work with Pinterest specifically

Is there an actual legit tool that lets you just dump a bunch of Walmart links in and it handles the formatting and sharing for you? I spent five hours yesterday clicking back and forth between tabs and I just cant keep doing that if I want to actually make any money.

So I'm trying to put together a basic office rig for my cousin who just started a small bookkeeping business here in Bristol. Nothing fancy, just needs to handle like fifty Chrome tabs, some chunky Excel sheets, and Zoom calls without sounding like a jet engine. I've got a budget of about 350-400 quid for the whole tower so every penny counts. I spent a couple hours looking at benchmarks and I keep seeing the Ryzen 5 5600G pop up as the king of budget builds because of the integrated graphics. It seems perfect but then I saw some folks on Reddit saying AM4 is a dead platform and I should go for something like the Ryzen 5 8500G instead since its newer. But then the motherboard and DDR5 ram prices start creeping up and suddenly I'm way over budget. Is the 8000 series actually gonna make a difference for basic office work or am I just wasting money on future proofing a machine that'll just be used for taxes? Kinda stuck between going cheap with the 5600G or trying to squeeze in an 8500G. Which AMD chip is actually the best value for a boring office PC right now?

Ive been hunting deals online since the early days of Slickdeals and the old FatWallet forums, so I usually know my way around a price tracker and a good deal alert. But honestly, trying to nail down a solid price history for Walmart is becoming a total nightmare lately. Im currently trying to pick up a specific Vizio 55-inch 4K set for my nephews dorm move-in up in Chicago—my budget is strictly under $400—and the pricing volatility on their site is just straight up nonsense.

I used to rely on BrickSeek for almost everything Walmart related, especially for local inventory stuff, but their free tier has become basically useless for actual price tracking over time and I swear half the time the data is cached or just wrong. Then I tried using the Honey browser extension, but it feels like it misses those middle-of-the-night price drops that only last for an hour. Its like Walmart is actively fighting scrapers or something because every time I think I found a tool that works, it stops updating or the SKU suddenly changes and the history gets wiped.

I even tried some of the newer ones like Capital One Shopping and Keepa (though Keepa is really just for Amazon), but nothing gives me that clean graph I need to see if a Rollback is actually a deal or if they just hiked the price $50 last week only to 'discount' it today. It is so frustrating when you know the cycles usually hit a low point in mid-August but you cant prove it because the data is missing. Is there anything out there that actually works for them consistently anymore? I just need a reliable site that shows the real price history graphs for Walmart items without needing a paid subscription or getting blocked every two days.
